Mark draws upon a rare skill set that combines 30 years of both business and technology leadership in the insurance and financial services industries. Before moving into the CEO role at RSG, he was Chief Information Officer for Broadspire.
His experience includes several roles in information and business technology for units of The Hartford Financial Services Group, including leadership of The Hartford's RMIS unit, for which he was responsible for financial results and product development. He also held the position of chief information officer of claims and spent 10 years in actuarial research at The Hartford, with responsibility for premium and dividend reserving as well as national account profitability analysis. Before joining Broadspire in 2007, he was vice president of the Hanover Technology group, where he managed technology development for the Hanover Insurance Group.
Mark's expertise in multiple initiatives, which includes designing, developing and strengthening new systems, supports Risk Science Group's commitment to ultimately providing clients with the most effective RMIS in the industry.
John's 25-year tenure at RSG has included roles in nearly every aspect of risk management information systems development, sales and support. He joined RSG as a senior programmer and held several technical leadership positions before assuming the role of Director of Operations for the West in 1997. He is currently responsible for the unbundled operations of RSG service centers in Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Dallas.
John manages the sale and delivery of RMIS solutions, including business development, needs analysis, specifications development, product design, system tailoring, testing, implementation, and ongoing system and data support. Since 1985, he has been involved in developing and maintaining complex information solutions for Fortune 500 companies by combining a technical skill-set with broad experience in risk management, claims, and insurance related data and concepts.
Previously John held software development positions at Chevron and Bank of America. He has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (Accounting) from California State University.
Phillip joined RSG as the global product director for DMITRI in July, 2013. In this role, he works closely with clients and account managers to understand their business needs and translates those needs into a strategic product roadmap for DMITRI. Phillip and his team then work with our technology team throughout the product development life cycle to deliver the product roadmap including requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment, documentation, and training. Phillip has worked in the RMIS and Insurance industry for the last 24 years as a product manager, account executive, and data analyst at Aon, AIG, and RLI Insurance Company. Phillip has an undergraduate degree in Risk Management from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Science in Risk Management from Georgia State University.
Colleen was named senior director of RSG ICT in June of 2015. In this role, and as a member of the RSG Senior Leadership Team, she is responsible for the management of RSG's global technology footprint. This includes overseeing RSG's strategic technology roadmap, inclusive of business intelligence and analytics efforts. Prior to moving into this role, Colleen had several years of progressive leadership experience within Crawford & Company. Most recently she was the director of Application Development and Support for RSG, including responsibility for the DMITRI product and a variety of other application support efforts. Prior to that Colleen managed several critical initiatives within other Broadspire and Crawford ICT support areas. Colleen has been with Crawford since November 2000 and has been in the information technology field for more than 30 years.
