Dear PDA,
I see you’ve created an efficiency potion! Similarly, I once cast a spell that made those tiny keys as big as the user’s fingers. Or was it the reverse ... tiny fingers for tiny keys? This wizard has too many spells.
My complement of wizards came up with two quick remedies for solving this dilemma on your own. The first is our Dashboard. The last tab reads “Database” and lists all data sources, their evaluation dates, and summary information on each. If you do not utilize the Dashboard currently, your RSG account manager could easily wave his wand and make that happen for you.

The second remedy is the run page, or back pages, of any Sigma EncoreSM template report, which also lists all data sources and their evaluation date.

Dear RSGuru,
I keep forgetting my password to RSG. Can you stop it from changing every 60 days? Or at least make it the same as my network, e-mail, HR, or banking passwords?
Thank you.
Tom Anesinons
Dear Tom,
This is one spell I will not cast. The King has decreed our adherence to a book of spells entitled Statement on Accounting Standards. Spell number 70, also known as SAS-70, specifies an in-depth audit of controls over information technology and related processes. This includes password protection and security. Sixty-day passwords were agreed to and will be maintained. In return, the King spared us all from 14 days of warnings!
Even when logged into RSG Sigma EncoreSM, a cloak of invisibility prevents users from accessing their own network servers from within RSG. There is, therefore, no connection between other passwords and RSG passwords.
A group of sorcerers created for RSG’s website a simple Self-Service Security Profile. To build your profile using three user-specific security questions and answers, click the “I Forgot My Password” hyperlink on the Client Gateway login page (top image at right), and then click “Home” in the top toolbar and select the “My Profile” button (bottom image at right). Once the security profile is established, users can magically unlock themselves by answering their security questions. Be assured that RSG wizards cannot access your secure answers. Please contact your RSG account manager for more information or documentation.
A note from RSGuru:
The King decreed that all RSG legacy systems be banned from the Kingdom no later than March 31, 2009, and, as faithful subjects, we have complied. A note of gratitude to all RSG peasants, sorcerers, sorceresses and wizards for their hard work on potions, spells, and assorted wizardry for this grand event. The King has also decreed an order of sincere appreciation to RSG clients for their tireless patience and collaboration during this effort.
