RSG accommodates first notice of loss requirements in different ways depending on the needs of the specific client. A client can use the standard claim screens already established in Sigma Encore, have RSG customize these screens to the exact specifications of their input form, or use a call center or other first notice of loss system where RSG builds a data transfer of the loss information directly into Sigma Encore.
Risk management operations with a low volume of loss notices and that do not require production of First Report of Injury to state jurisdictions are best accommodated by using the standard features in Sigma Encore. Our flexibility allows for screens to be configured to your exact specifications. Users login through RSG or the client's website and input an incident or claim transaction on-line. Field naming conventions and code structure are client-specific. Security would be established to limit users to only recording a loss. As an option, a claim record meeting specific parameters defined by you can be electronically sent to the client's carrier or third party administrator.
Large risk management operations that have a large volume of incidents/claims and require production of First Report of Injury are best served by implementing a browser-based first notice of loss or a employing a call center service. RSG has built interfaces that include two popular call center solutions, First Notice Systems and its Claim Capture product, as well as the The Network and its NetClaim product. In either solution, data is transferred, validated and updated into Sigma Encore periodically throughout the day.
